feat(subsonic): OpenSubsonic API key authentication (#6219)
* feat(persistence): store hashed API keys on players

* feat(core): refresh key-bound players without renaming them

Add Players.Touch, which records usage for a player already identified by
an API key without guessing its identity or overwriting its name. Register
also stops renaming players that have an API key.

Register no longer returns player save errors (or a stale FindMatch
ErrNotFound when the save is rate-limited); save failures are only logged,
and only the transcoding lookup error is returned, same as Touch.

* feat(subsonic): authenticate with OpenSubsonic API keys

Co-authored-by: amCap1712 <amCap1712@users.noreply.github.com>

* feat(subsonic): add tokenInfo and advertise apiKeyAuthentication

* feat(server): add endpoints to generate and revoke player API keys

* feat(ui): manage player API keys

Co-authored-by: amCap1712 <amCap1712@users.noreply.github.com>

* fix(subsonic): throttle API keys per key and IP

A stale key on one device exhausted the shared per-IP bucket and locked out
every valid key from the same IP. The limiter only stores a hash of the bucket
string, so the key is not retained. Also adds e2e coverage of API key auth
through the real repository, and clarifies the player resolution log message.

* fix(ui): keep the new API key dialog open until closed

The key is shown only once, so Escape and backdrop clicks no longer dismiss
it. Also clarifies when the key can be used as a password.

* refactor: simplify API key code paths

Share the player refresh tail between Register and Touch, fold the
ownership-filtered write tail into execOwned, parse the query once for
apiKey conflicts, derive HasAPIKey in the player mock, share the player
form inputs between create and edit, and pick the delete button by key
state instead of spreading conditional props.

* feat(players): set API keys through the player record

The key is a write-only apiKey field applied on save: required and owner-only on create, optional on edit, empty to revoke. Replaces the generate/revoke endpoints.

* fix(players): reject API keys already in use

Creating or editing a player with a key another player already has now returns a validation error instead of a 500, and a create that loses the race no longer leaves a keyless player behind. Ownership is checked before the key on create.

* feat(ui): edit player API keys as a form field

Replaces the show-once dialog, whose icon-less Close button was invisible on mobile. The key is generated in the browser, required and pre-filled on create.

* fix(ui): keep new player API keys out of the record cache

The json-server create response echoes the request body, and undoable edits merge the payload into the cache, so the key could reappear on the edit page. Strip it from the create result and save player edits pessimistically. Also fall back to a prompt when the clipboard write fails.

* fix(ui): polish player API key field

Set userId on the created player record so owner actions show immediately, and show a neutral no-key message to non-owners.

* refactor: simplify player API key create and field

Write the key hash in the create INSERT so the unique index settles
races, re-read the created player instead of hand-building the cached
record, reuse isWritable for the revoke check, and collapse the key
field's derived state and generate/regenerate buttons.

* fix(ui): let the API key field size like other inputs

fullWidth is now opt-in instead of forced.

* fix(ui): align the API key field with other player inputs

Apply react-admin's input className, move the actions (now including Copy) below the field, and use a monospace font so the whole key fits.

* fix(ui): redirect to the player list after create

Matches the other create pages.

* refactor(persistence): name the write-access rule for owned rows

Owned-row writes now say which row they target and who may write it: ownedRow(rowID, ownerOrAdmin|ownerOnly) builds the WHERE, updateOwnedRow applies it, and SetAPIKey uses ownerOnly instead of a hand-built user_id filter. updateOwned/deleteOwned keep their signatures.

* fix(players): apply an edit's key change and fields atomically

Update now runs SetAPIKey and the column update in one transaction. Also shares the key format check, drops FindByAPIKey's unneeded empty-key guard, and sets the context username only on the apiKey path.

* fix(subsonic): treat any credential param sent with apiKey as a conflict

The spec requires error 43 when u, p, t or s is present with apiKey, even with an empty value.

* refactor(subsonic): leave the player cookie code unchanged for key-bound requests

Return early instead of wrapping the cookie block, so the diff (and CodeQL's view of it) matches master.

* fix(subsonic): don't count key lookup errors as failed logins

A database error while checking a key sent as the password now surfaces as a server error instead of a bad password, so it no longer feeds the failed-login limiter.

* feat(players): use nds_ as the API key prefix

Part of a Navidrome secret prefix family (nd + a letter for the kind), alongside ndg_ for API v1 grants.

* feat(ui): make player API keys easier to find

Label the Settings menu entry "Players & API keys", add an API key
filter to the player list, show the key icon in the mobile list, and
add Brazilian Portuguese translations for the new player strings.

* feat(ui): always show the player API key filter

Signed-off-by: Deluan <deluan@navidrome.org>

* fix(ui): hide the unset Last Seen date in the player list

Players created by hand have no last_seen yet, which showed as 12/31/1.

feat(jellyfin): add Quick Connect sign-in (#6174)
* feat(jellyfin): add Quick Connect sign-in

Jellyfin clients can now sign in without a password: the client shows a
6-digit code, a signed-in user approves it, and the client redeems a secret
for its access token.

- core/quickconnect: in-memory store shared by both routers through wire.
Codes expire after 10 minutes; a secret redeems only once (Jellyfin
allows repeats for 10 minutes); at most 1000 pending requests.
- Jellyfin API: Initiate, Connect, Authorize and AuthenticateWithQuickConnect.
Admins may approve for another user via UserId, like Swiftfin's admin page.
Initiate and redeem share the login rate limiter; Connect does not, since
Finamp and Streamyfin poll it every second.
- Web UI: a Quick Connect item in the user menu looks up the code and shows
the app and device before approving, so a user can't be tricked into
  approving an unknown device blindly.
- Jellyfin.QuickConnect option, on by default like Jellyfin. It only matters
when the Jellyfin API is enabled.

* refactor(jellyfin): tidy Quick Connect naming and route guards

Group the Quick Connect routes under one requireQuickConnect guard, make the
request's device a named field so req.Device.ID can't be mistaken for a
request id, and rename the web API response type to quickConnectDevice.

* refactor(jellyfin): remove duplicated Jellyfin date formatting function

* test(jellyfin): set play count and starred in the song fixture literal

* refactor(jellyfin): inline the Quick Connect redeem body and use the shared date helper

* fix(jellyfin): bound the client fields Quick Connect keeps in memory

Initiate is unauthenticated and keeps the Client, Device, DeviceId and Version
header fields for up to ten minutes. With no header size limit, each pending
request could hold about 1 MB, and even a short field kept the whole header
alive because the parsed values are substrings of it. Reject fields over 512
bytes and copy the stored values.

Also answer 500 instead of 401 when the redeem user lookup fails for a reason
other than the user being gone.

* fix(jellyfin): rate-limit Quick Connect code approval

Any signed-in user could try codes without limit on the Jellyfin Authorize
endpoint and the web UI lookup/authorize endpoints, and so could approve
another person's pending device for their own account. Apply the same per-IP
limiter as the login (AuthRequestLimit/AuthWindowLength) to both surfaces.

feat(ui): add Refresh Metadata to the album and artist context menus (#6036)
* refactor(artwork): move artworkItemName into core/artwork as ItemName

* feat(external): add RefreshInfo to force an external info refresh

RefreshInfo re-fetches and re-saves external info for one artist or
album, bypassing the TTL check that UpdateArtistInfo/UpdateAlbumInfo
use. It is synchronous; callers that must not block detach it themselves.

Also makes MockArtistRepo/MockAlbumRepo.UpdateExternalInfo persist to
Data (previously a no-op) and adds the new method to the e2e noopProvider,
both required so the interface addition compiles and is observable in tests.

* feat(external): broadcast RefreshResource after external info is saved

populateArtistInfo and populateAlbumInfo now emit the same RefreshResource
event the artwork worker uses, so the UI learns about both foreground and
background metadata refreshes.

* feat(nativeapi): replace artwork refresh endpoint with metadata refresh

* feat(ui): add refreshMetadata to the data provider

* feat(ui): add a Refresh Metadata item to the album and artist context menus

* fix(ui): re-fetch artist info when the record is refreshed

* test: fix mislabeled spec, add kind-gate negative case, guard nil mock maps

- Rename the RefreshInfo spec that claimed to cover the save-failure/broadcast
path: SetError(true) fails Get too, so it only proves RefreshInfo bails out
  early at getArtist.
- Add a spec proving playlist refreshes skip the external-info step, since
that asymmetry (al/ar only) was documented but unasserted.
- Add lazy nil-map init to MockAlbumRepo/MockArtistRepo.UpdateExternalInfo so
a composite-literal-constructed mock doesn't panic on first save.

* test: relocate discArtworkName specs from cmd to core/artwork

artworkItemName moved into core/artwork as ItemName in an earlier commit, but
its disc-name specs stayed behind in cmd/artwork_test.go, reaching across
packages. Move them to core/artwork/item_name_test.go where the code now lives.

* fix(ui): shape refreshMetadata like a react-admin response

react-admin validates custom dataProvider methods and rejects any response
without a `data` key, so the raw httpClient promise made every click surface
an error toast instead of the success message. The unit test mocked
useDataProvider, which skips that validation.

Also folds "which kinds have external info" into external.HasInfo so the
handler stops restating it, drops the nil-broker guard that only existed for
tests, and delegates the mocks' UpdateExternalInfo to Put.

* refactor(external): unexport infoKinds

Only HasInfo is used outside the package, so the slice itself does not need
to be exported.

* refactor(artwork): fold ItemName into housekeeping.go next to Refresh

ItemName exists to guard Refresh from ids that would orphan a queue row, and
both callers invoke them back to back. A separate file hid that pairing; it was
only split out to keep the move out of cmd/ legible in review.

* fix(nativeapi): return 500 when the refresh lookup fails for a non-ErrNotFound reason

A transient repository error told the admin the id did not exist, and the error
was dropped without a log line, so nothing pointed at the real cause.

Also drops the inherited claim that clearing artwork state shows a placeholder.
Reads fall back to local resolution, so that only holds when there is no local art.

* fix(ui): move Refresh Metadata above Get Info in the context menu

Menu order follows key insertion order in the options object, so the new spec
pins the position rather than leaving it to be shuffled by the next addition.

fix(ui): stop precaching index.html so logins can't show the wrong user (#5882)
* fix(ui): stop precaching index.html so logins can't show the wrong user

index.html is rendered per-user by the server: it carries __APP_CONFIG__,
including the auth payload (user id, name, role, Subsonic token) when
authentication comes from a reverse-proxy header. Workbox precached it, and
because precacheAndRoute registers its route before the NetworkOnly
NavigationRoute, every navigation to /app/ was answered from Cache Storage
with a frozen copy of whoever installed the service worker.

With ExtAuth, signing out and back in as a different user therefore kept
showing the previous user, along with their Subsonic token. Cache Storage
ignores the no-store header serve_index.go already sets, and ignores the
browser's "disable cache", so only clearing site data recovered.

Excluding index.html from the precache manifest lets the NetworkOnly
navigation strategy do the job it was written for. Existing poisoned caches
heal themselves: the entry is dropped when the new manifest activates.

The same stale document caused the create-admin dialog to reappear (#3613),
patched then by calling removeHomeCache() after login. That helper only ran
on password login and token refresh, so it never covered the ExtAuth path,
and a refetch re-poisoned the cache anyway. Fixing the cause makes it dead
code, so it is removed.

Also serve the offline page on 5xx: it arrives as a normal response, so the
existing catch never saw it, and without a precached shell a restarting
server would surface a raw gateway error. The offline copy is reworded to
fit both causes.

* test(ui): cover the service worker navigation fallback rules

The handler lived inside sw.js, which only loads in a service worker where
workbox arrives via importScripts, so none of it was reachable from vitest.
Moving the decision into its own module pins the rules that matter: a 5xx
falls back to the offline page like a thrown network error does, while 4xx
and 304 still pass through to the app.

fix(ui): make self-service profile edits report their outcome (#5699)
* fix(ui): make self-service profile edits report their outcome

When a non-admin user saved their own profile (e.g. changing their
password via EnableUserEditing), the data provider followed the user
update with a call to the admin-only PUT /api/user/{id}/library
endpoint, which always failed with 403. The save error handler then
crashed reading error.body.errors on the plain-text response, so the
user got no notification at all - while the profile change had in fact
already been applied. This made password changes look like they were
silently ignored, and follow-up attempts failed with 'password does not
match' since the current password had already changed. Present since
the multi-library support introduced in v0.58.0 (#4181).

Only call the user-library association endpoint when the logged-in user
is an admin (the server manages assignments for self-edits), and make
the save error handler tolerate error bodies without field errors,
notifying a generic error instead of crashing.

* fix(ui): tolerate nullish rejection values in user save handler

Address review feedback: use optional chaining on the error itself in
the UserEdit save handler, so a nullish rejection value also results in
the generic error notification instead of a TypeError.

feat(ui): replace UI scrobble with reportPlayback and redesign NowPlaying panel (#5448)
* feat(config): add UIPlaybackReportInterval setting

* feat(server): expose playbackReportIntervalMs to UI config

* feat(ui): add playbackReportIntervalMs config default

* feat(ui): replace scrobble/nowPlaying with reportPlayback in subsonic API layer

* feat(ui): replace scrobble logic with reportPlayback state machine in Player

* refactor(ui): simplify Player heartbeat using useInterval hook

- Replace manual setInterval/clearInterval with existing useInterval hook
- Extract shared reportPlaybackUrl helper to deduplicate URL construction
- Use ref for currentTrackId in beforeunload to stabilize effect deps
- Have heartbeat read lastPositionMsRef instead of audioInstance.currentTime

* feat(ui): redesign NowPlaying panel with Discord-style layout

Show album art with play/pause overlay icon, track title, artist,
album name, progress bar with position/duration, and username.

* fix(ui): adjust NowPlaying panel height to fit 3 entries

* fix(ui): send stopped on player close and tab close while paused

- onBeforeDestroy now sends reportPlayback stopped before clearing queue
- beforeunload sends stopped beacon regardless of pause state

* feat(ui): animate NowPlaying progress bar with 1s client-side tick

* fix(ui): account for playbackRate in NowPlaying progress interpolation

* fix(ui): use timestamp-based interpolation for smooth NowPlaying progress

Replace tick counter with fetchedAt timestamp so the progress bar
advances smoothly without resetting on each server poll.

* fix(ui): fix NowPlaying progress bar not animating

Pass `now` (Date.now()) as a prop that changes every tick, so
React.memo'd components actually re-render each second.

* fix(ui): prevent progress bar reset on NowPlaying poll

Set fetchedAt and now atomically on fetch so the elapsed offset
starts at zero and the server's already-estimated positionMs
is used as the base without a visible jump.

* fix(ui): stamp entries with fetch time to prevent progress bar reset

Embed _fetchedAt timestamp directly into each entry object so the
position and its reference timestamp are always in the same state
update, eliminating the React 17 multi-setState batching race.

* fix(server): estimate position for starting state in GetNowPlaying

GetNowPlaying was only estimating elapsed position for the "playing"
state, returning raw positionMs=0 for "starting". Since the UI
player sends "starting" once and then doesn't update until the
60s heartbeat, NowPlaying polls returned 0 for up to a minute,
causing the progress bar to reset on every poll.

* fix(ui): send playing immediately after starting to enable position estimation

The server only estimates elapsed position for "playing" state in
GetNowPlaying. The Player was sending "starting" once and then not
updating until the 60s heartbeat, leaving the server state as
"starting" with positionMs=0 for up to a minute.

Now the Player follows up "starting" with an immediate "playing"
call, transitioning the server state so position estimation works
from the first poll.

* fix(subsonic): fix getNowPlaying returning same playerId for all entries

PlayerId was never incremented in the map callback, so every entry
got playerId=1. This caused the UI to use duplicate React keys,
mixing up rendered entries between players. Also use a stable
composite key in the UI instead of the sequential playerId.

* fix(ui): only send stopped beacon when tab is actually closing

Move the reportPlaybackBeacon call from beforeunload to pagehide.
beforeunload fires before the confirmation dialog, so cancelling
the close would still send stopped. pagehide only fires when the
page is actually being unloaded.

* fix(ui): revert to beforeunload for stopped beacon

pagehide does not fire reliably in Chrome when closing tabs.
Use beforeunload instead — if the user cancels the close dialog,
the heartbeat will re-register the NowPlaying entry on its next tick.

* fix(ui): use synchronous XHR for stopped report on tab close

Replace sendBeacon with synchronous XMLHttpRequest in beforeunload.
This blocks the page from closing until the server acknowledges
the stopped state, ensuring the NowPlaying entry is always removed.

* fix(ui): fix confirmation dialog and use fetch keepalive for tab close

- Move e.preventDefault() before the stopped report so the dialog
always shows regardless of XHR errors
- Use fetch with keepalive:true instead of sync XHR (more reliable,
  non-blocking, survives page teardown)
- Fall back to sendBeacon if fetch throws

* fix(ui): prevent heartbeat from re-adding entry after stopped on tab close

Set a stoppedRef flag in beforeunload so the heartbeat interval
skips sending playing reports after stopped has been sent.
Without this, the heartbeat could re-register the NowPlaying
entry after the stopped event removed it.

* fix(ui): include client unique ID header in stopped report on tab close

Root cause: reportPlaybackSync (fetch keepalive) did not include the
X-ND-Client-Unique-Id header. Regular reportPlayback calls via
httpClient include this header, and the server uses it as the playMap
key. Without the header, the stopped call fell back to player.ID
as the key, which didn't match the entry added with the UUID key.
The playMap.Remove targeted the wrong key, so the entry persisted.

Fix: export clientUniqueId from httpClient and include it as a header
in the fetch keepalive request.

* fix(ui): use pagehide for stopped report to avoid premature send

beforeunload fires before the confirmation dialog, so the stopped
event was sent even when the user cancelled closing. Move the
stopped report to pagehide, which only fires when the page is
actually being unloaded (after confirmation).

* feat(server): broadcast NowPlaying SSE on every state change

Previously, the SSE broadcast only fired when the NowPlaying count
changed. Now it fires on every reportPlayback call (starting,
playing, paused, stopped), so the NowPlaying panel gets instant
updates for state transitions and position changes.

The UI reducer stores a nowPlayingLastUpdate timestamp alongside
the count, ensuring every SSE event triggers a re-fetch even when
the count is unchanged (e.g., pause/resume).

* fix(ui): clamp NowPlaying position to prevent negative time display

* fix(ui): debounce NowPlaying fetches to prevent progress bar trembling

During track changes, rapid SSE events (stopped, starting, playing)
triggered multiple refetches within milliseconds, each resetting the
interpolation base and causing the progress bar to oscillate. Skip
fetches within 1 second of the previous fetch.

* feat(ui): report playback position on seek

Send a reportPlayback(playing) call when the user seeks/scrubs in
the player, so the NowPlaying panel and server position stay in
sync immediately instead of waiting for the next 60s heartbeat.

* refactor: code review cleanup

- Export clientUniqueIdHeader from httpClient, use in subsonic layer
- Fix variable shadowing (now → fetchNow) in NowPlayingPanel fetchList
- Fix onBeforeDestroy nested dep (read isRadio from ref instead)
- Only broadcast SSE on state transitions, not heartbeat position updates
- Only enqueue NowPlaying to external scrobblers on state transitions

Signed-off-by: Deluan <deluan@navidrome.org>

* fix(ui): use trailing-edge debounce for NowPlaying fetch

Replace the leading-edge throttle (which fetched on the first event
and blocked subsequent ones) with a trailing-edge debounce (300ms).
During track transitions, the burst of events (stopped → starting →
playing) now collapses into a single fetch after the burst settles,
showing the new track immediately instead of briefly showing empty.

* fix(ui): only show overlay on NowPlaying artwork when paused

Signed-off-by: Deluan <deluan@navidrome.org>

* refactor(ui): remove unnecessary sendBeacon fallback from reportPlaybackSync

* refactor(ui): rename reportPlaybackSync to reportPlaybackKeepalive

The function was never synchronous — it uses fetch with keepalive:true,
which is fire-and-forget. The name now reflects the actual behavior.

* style: format code with prettier

* test: add tests for reportPlayback SSE broadcast and UI changes

- play_tracker: verify SSE broadcast on every state transition and
that broadcasts are skipped when EnableNowPlaying is false
- activityReducer: verify nowPlayingLastUpdate timestamp is set
- subsonic/index: verify reportPlayback URL construction

Signed-off-by: Deluan <deluan@navidrome.org>

* fix(ui): prevent NowPlaying from fetching every second when panel is open

fetchList had unstable identity because it depended on doFetch
(which depended on notify/dispatch). Each 1s setNow re-render
recreated the callback chain, re-triggering the useEffect that
calls fetchList. Use a ref for the fetch logic so fetchList has
a stable identity with empty deps.

* fix(ui): break fetch→dispatch→effect→fetch loop in NowPlaying panel

The fetch dispatched nowPlayingCountUpdate on every result, which
updated nowPlayingLastUpdate in Redux, which triggered the SSE
effect to call fetchList again — creating a fetch loop.

Fix: remove dispatch from fetch results. The badge count uses
entries.length (from local state) when entries are loaded, falling
back to Redux count (from SSE) when they aren't. SSE events remain
the only trigger for nowPlayingLastUpdate, breaking the loop.

* fix(ui): clear NowPlaying entries on panel close so badge uses SSE count

* style: format code with prettier

* fix: address code review feedback

- Fix currentTime truthiness check to handle position 0 correctly
- Report actual player state (playing/paused) on seek instead of
  always sending 'playing'
- Remove idx from React key to avoid reorder issues
- Add debounce timer cleanup on unmount
- Keep entries on panel close so badge stays accurate from polling
- Fix test description to match actual assertion

* fix(ui): keep NowPlaying badge count accurate from polling

Add a separate nowPlayingCountSync action that updates the Redux
count without setting nowPlayingLastUpdate (which would trigger
the SSE effect and cause a fetch loop). Polling results now sync
the badge count via this action, so the badge stays accurate even
when SSE is unavailable.

* style: format code with prettier

fix(ui): fix library selection state for single-library users (#4686)
* fix: validate library selection state for single-library users

Fixes issues where users with a single library see no content when
selectedLibraries in localStorage contains library IDs they no longer
have access to (e.g., after removing libraries or switching accounts).

Changes:
- libraryReducer: Validate selectedLibraries when SET_USER_LIBRARIES
is dispatched, filtering out invalid IDs and resetting to empty for
single-library users (empty means 'all accessible libraries')
- wrapperDataProvider: Add defensive validation in getSelectedLibraries
to check against current user libraries before applying filters
- Add comprehensive test coverage for reducer validation logic

* fix: ensure LibrarySelector dropdown refreshes on button close

Added refresh() call when closing the dropdown via button click to maintain
consistency with the ClickAwayListener behavior. This ensures the UI
updates properly regardless of how the dropdown is closed, fixing an
inconsistent refresh behavior between different closing methods.

The fix tracks the previous open state and calls refresh() only when
the dropdown was open and is being closed by the button click.

* refactor: change ArtistRepository.GetIndex to accept multiple library IDs

Updated the GetIndex method signature to accept a slice of library IDs instead of a single ID, enabling support for filtering artists across multiple libraries simultaneously.

Changes include:
- Modified ArtistRepository interface in model/artist.go
- Updated implementation in persistence/artist_repository.go with improved library filtering logic
- Refactored Subsonic API browsing.go to use new selectedMusicFolderIds helper
- Added comprehensive test coverage for multiple library scenarios
- Updated mock repository implementation for testing

This change improves flexibility for multi-library operations while maintaining backward compatibility through the selectedMusicFolderIds helper function.

* feat: add library access validation to selectedMusicFolderIds

Enhanced the selectedMusicFolderIds function to validate musicFolderId parameters
against the user's accessible libraries. Invalid library IDs (those the user
doesn't have access to) are now silently filtered out, improving security by
preventing users from accessing libraries they don't have permission for.

Changes include:
- Added validation logic to check musicFolderId parameters against user's accessible libraries
- Added slices package import for efficient validation
- Enhanced function documentation to clarify validation behavior
- Added comprehensive test cases covering validation scenarios
- Maintains backward compatibility with existing behavior

* feat: implement multi-library support for GetAlbumList and GetAlbumList2 endpoints

- Enhanced selectedMusicFolderIds helper to validate and filter library IDs
- Added ApplyLibraryFilter function in filter/filters.go for library filtering
- Updated getAlbumList to support musicFolderId parameter filtering
- Added comprehensive tests for multi-library functionality
- Supports single and multiple musicFolderId values
- Falls back to all accessible libraries when no musicFolderId provided
- Validates library access permissions for user security

* feat: implement multi-library support for GetRandomSongs, GetSongsByGenre, GetStarred, and GetStarred2

- Added multi-library filtering to GetRandomSongs endpoint using musicFolderId parameter
- Added multi-library filtering to GetSongsByGenre endpoint using musicFolderId parameter
- Enhanced GetStarred and GetStarred2 to filter artists, albums, and songs by library
- Added Options field to MockMediaFileRepo and MockArtistRepo for test compatibility
- Added comprehensive Ginkgo/Gomega tests for all new multi-library functionality
- All tests verify proper SQL filter generation and library access validation
- Supports single/multiple musicFolderId values with fallback to all accessible libraries

* refactor: optimize starred items queries with parallel execution and fix test isolation

Refactored starred items functionality by extracting common logic into getStarredItems()
method that executes artist, album, and media file queries in parallel for better performance.
This eliminates code duplication between GetStarred and GetStarred2 methods while improving
response times through concurrent database queries using run.Parallel().

Also fixed test isolation issues by adding missing auth.Init(ds) call in album lists test setup.
This resolves nil pointer dereference errors in GetStarred and GetStarred2 tests when run independently.

* fix: return error when any musicFolderId is invalid or inaccessible

Changed behavior from silently filtering invalid library IDs to returning
ErrorDataNotFound (code 70) when any provided musicFolderId parameter
is invalid or the user doesn't have access to it.

The error message includes the specific library number for better debugging.
This affects album/song list endpoints (getAlbumList, getRandomSongs,
getSongsByGenre, getStarred) to provide consistent error handling
across all Subsonic API endpoints.

Updated corresponding tests to expect errors instead of silent filtering.

* feat: add musicFolderId parameter support to Search2 and Search3 endpoints

Implemented musicFolderId parameter support for Subsonic API Search2 and Search3 endpoints, completing multi-library functionality across all Subsonic endpoints.

Key changes:
- Added musicFolderId parameter handling to Search2 and Search3 endpoints
- Updated search logic to filter results by specified library or all accessible libraries when parameter not provided
- Added proper error handling for invalid/inaccessible musicFolderId values
- Refactored SearchableRepository interface to support library filtering with variadic QueryOptions
- Updated repository implementations (Album, Artist, MediaFile) to handle library filtering in search operations
- Added comprehensive test coverage with robust assertions verifying library filtering works correctly
- Enhanced mock repositories to capture QueryOptions for test validation

* feat: enhance library selection with master checkbox functionality

Added a master checkbox to the SelectLibraryInput component, allowing users to select or deselect all libraries at once. This improves user experience by simplifying the selection process when multiple libraries are available. Additionally, updated translations in the en.json file to include a new message for selecting all libraries, ensuring consistency in user interface messaging.

* feat: add default library assignment for new users

Introduced a new column `default_new_users` in the library table to
facilitate automatic assignment of default libraries to new regular users.
When a new user is created, they will now be assigned to libraries marked
as default, enhancing user experience by ensuring they have immediate access
to essential resources. Additionally, updated the user repository logic
to handle this new functionality and modified the user creation validation
to reflect that library selection is optional for non-admin users.

* feat: implement per-library artist statistics with automatic aggregation

Implemented comprehensive multi-library support for artist statistics that
automatically aggregates stats from user-accessible libraries. This fundamental
change moves artist statistics from global scope to per-library granularity
while maintaining backward compatibility and transparent operation.

Key changes include:
- Migrated artist statistics from global artist.stats to per-library library_artist.stats
- Added automatic library filtering and aggregation in existing Get/GetAll methods
- Updated role-based filtering to work with per-library statistics storage
- Enhanced statistics calculation to process and store stats per library
- Implemented user permission-aware aggregation that respects library access control
- Added comprehensive test coverage for library filtering and restricted user access
- Created helper functions to ensure proper library associations in tests

This enables users to see statistics that accurately reflect only the content
from libraries they have access to, providing proper multi-tenant behavior
while maintaining the existing API surface and UI functionality.

* feat: add multi-library support to tag repository system

Implemented comprehensive library filtering for tag repositories to support the multi-library feature. This change ensures that users only see tags from libraries they have access to, while admin users can see all tags.

Key changes:
- Enhanced TagRepository.Add() method to accept libraryID parameter for proper library association
- Updated baseTagRepository to implement library-aware queries with proper joins
- Added library_tag table integration for per-library tag statistics
- Implemented user permission-based filtering through user_library associations
- Added comprehensive test coverage for library filtering scenarios
- Updated UI data provider to include tag filtering by selected libraries
- Modified scanner to pass library ID when adding tags during folder processing

The implementation maintains backward compatibility while providing proper isolation between libraries for tag-based operations like genres and other metadata tags.

* refactor: simplify artist repository library filtering

Removed conditional admin logic from applyLibraryFilterToArtistQuery method
and unified the library filtering approach to match the tag repository pattern.
The method now always uses the same SQL join structure regardless of user role,
with admin access handled automatically through user_library associations.

Added artistLibraryIdFilter function to properly qualify library_id column
references and prevent SQL ambiguity errors when multiple tables contain
library_id columns. This ensures the filter targets library_artist.library_id
specifically rather than causing ambiguous column name conflicts.

* fix: resolve LibrarySelectionField validation error for non-admin users

Fixed validation error 'At least one library must be selected for non-admin users' that appeared even when libraries were selected. The issue was caused by a data format mismatch between backend and frontend.

The backend sends user data with libraries as an array of objects, but the LibrarySelectionField component expects libraryIds as an array of IDs. Added data transformation in the data provider's getOne method to automatically convert libraries array to libraryIds format when fetching user records.

Also extracted validation logic into a separate userValidation module for better code organization and added comprehensive test coverage to prevent similar issues.

* refactor: remove unused library access functions and related tests

* refactor: rename search_test.go to searching_test.go for consistency

* fix: add user context to scrobble buffer getParticipants call

Added user context handling to scrobbleBufferRepository.Next method to resolve
SQL error 'no such column: library_artist.library_id' when processing scrobble
entries in multi-library environments. The artist repository now requires user
context for proper library filtering, so we fetch the user and temporarily
inject it into the context before calling getParticipants. This ensures
background scrobbling operations work correctly with multi-library support.

* feat: add cross-library move detection for scanner

Implemented cross-library move detection for the scanner phase 2 to properly handle files moved between libraries. This prevents users from losing play counts, ratings, and other metadata when moving files across library boundaries.

Changes include:
- Added MediaFileRepository methods for two-tier matching: FindRecentFilesByMBZTrackID (primary) and FindRecentFilesByProperties (fallback)
- Extended scanner phase 2 pipeline with processCrossLibraryMoves stage that processes files unmatched within their library
- Implemented findCrossLibraryMatch with MusicBrainz Release Track ID priority and intrinsic properties fallback
- Updated producer logic to handle missing tracks without matches, ensuring cross-library processing
- Updated tests to reflect new producer behavior and cross-library functionality

The implementation uses existing moveMatched function for unified move operations, automatically preserving all user data through database foreign key relationships. Cross-library moves are detected using the same Equals() and IsEquivalent() matching logic as within-library moves for consistency.

Signed-off-by: Deluan <deluan@navidrome.org>

* feat: add album annotation reassignment for cross-library moves

Implemented album annotation reassignment functionality for the scanner's missing tracks phase. When tracks move between libraries and change album IDs, the system now properly reassigns album annotations (starred status, ratings) from the old album to the new album. This prevents loss of user annotations when tracks are moved across library boundaries.

The implementation includes:
- Thread-safe annotation reassignment using mutex protection
- Duplicate reassignment prevention through processed album tracking
- Graceful error handling that doesn't fail the entire move operation
- Comprehensive test coverage for various scenarios including error conditions

This enhancement ensures data integrity and user experience continuity during cross-library media file movements.

* fix: address PR review comments for multi-library support

Fixed several issues identified in PR review:

- Removed unnecessary artist stats initialization check since the map is already initialized in PostScan()
- Improved code clarity in user repository by extracting isNewUser variable to avoid checking count == 0 twice
- Fixed library selection logic to properly handle initial library state and prevent overriding user selections

These changes address code quality and logic issues identified during the multi-library support PR review.

* feat: add automatic playlist statistics refreshing

Implemented automatic playlist statistics (duration, size, song count) refreshing
when tracks are modified. Added new refreshStats() method to recalculate
statistics from playlist tracks, and SetTracks() method to update tracks
and refresh statistics atomically. Modified all track manipulation methods
(RemoveTracks, AddTracks, AddMediaFiles) to automatically refresh statistics.
Updated playlist repository to use the new SetTracks method for consistent
statistics handling.

* refactor: rename AddTracks to AddMediaFilesByID for clarity

Renamed the AddTracks method to AddMediaFilesByID throughout the codebase
to better reflect its purpose of adding media files to a playlist by their IDs.
This change improves code readability and makes the method name more descriptive
of its actual functionality. Updated all references in playlist model, tests,
core playlist logic, and Subsonic API handlers to use the new method name.

* refactor: consolidate user context access in persistence layer

Removed duplicate helper functions userId() and isAdmin() from sql_base_repository.go and consolidated all user context access to use loggedUser(r.ctx).ID and loggedUser(r.ctx).IsAdmin consistently across the persistence layer.

This change eliminates code duplication and provides a single, consistent pattern for accessing user context information in repository methods. All functionality remains unchanged - this is purely a code cleanup refactoring.

* refactor: eliminate MockLibraryService duplication using embedded struct

- Replace 235-line MockLibraryService with 40-line embedded struct pattern
- Enhance MockLibraryRepo with service-layer methods (192→310 lines)
- Maintain full compatibility with existing tests
- All 72 nativeapi specs pass with proper error handling
