From 6e788426aab9a660616ecf368a18ab4df3ebb32f Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: ValeraDX Date: Sat, 26 Sep 2026 13:25:33 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] Add hyper (bootloader) and remove it from suggested alternatives. (#1535) ### Description of Changes This PR adds the hyper bootloader in the ranks of LLM-assisted software, as confirmed under a comment on a github issue. It also removes Hyper from being listed as an alternative to Grub or Limine, as it is not slop-free (and can't even boot the Linux kernel!). Untainted commits are tricky, because there are no obvious slop indicators like Claude Code or something like that, but assuming the comment I linked as evidence is right, there might be no untainted commits at all. As for alternatives, I honestly don't know if there are any of good bootloader at all. There is rEFInd, but it's UEFI only (which means that depending on your hardware situation you might have no alternatives at all). And refind's latest commit was in 2024, which is kind of old and I do not want to recommend abandonware.
