FILENAME_METADATA default to '(?P<date>\d{4}-\d{2}-\d{2}).*' which will allow
to extract date metadata from the filename.

This fix was applied previously to the relevant places in both the
"simple" and "notmyidea" themes, but the simple theme's index.html file
was apparently neglected.
