I have spent quite some time going through the LLVM history, and I'm pretty disheartened at just how accepting the project has been of ai contributions for a long time. Every time I thought I found the new earliest clean commit, I found a pr or issue earlier that had some form of ai usage by either the author(s) or reviewer(s). Given the enormous size of LLVM, I think that it's probably safer to start with the earliest possible release that was released after the LLM epoch, and check upwards, rather than releases going backwards.

So as not to waste the search effort, I've documented some of the strategies I've used in ethical-foss/open-slopware#1116, hopefully that will help somebody else in future.

41bdaff091 update xlibre to have none for last untainted, and add new x.org alternatives section (#1739) 
### Description of Changes

We don't want to recommend that xlibre ever get forked, as it's got an awful CoC, and it itself is already a fork of x.org, so it would be better for people to instead go with one of our x.org based alternatives, or work on finding the last untainted commit for x.org.

5ce7af9186 Add cryfs as tainted (#1713) 
### Description of Changes

This PR adds cryfs (file encryption tool) as tainted.

The author is heavily using Claude to generate code without input, e.g. [here](https://github.com/cryfs/cryfs/pull/672):
